Vale - David Crewes
Tue, 26 Aug 2008, 01:24 pmIt is with much sadness that I write to inform that David Crewes passed away this morning peacefully.
David Crewes was a life member of Playlovers and the ITA.
David has now reunited with his wife Elizabeth.
Sympathies to Amanda, Jason and Martin Crewes, and Marie Corrigan.

Wed, 27 Aug 2008, 10:06 amIt's hard to find the right words to say when the theatre community loses one of its true gentleman. We feel very honoured to have known David. His knowledge and experience of all things theatre made him a valued member and friend. Thank you David for what you have given us and shared with us.
One of my fondest memories of David was his rendition of "Modern Major General" from The Pirates of Penzance at Playlovers. The role of the Major General was made for him! Working with David as a cast and committee member was also a joy.
Our love and thoughts go to Martin, Amanda, Jason, Marie and the Crewes family.
