Could someone point me in the right direction? Looking for advice

Hi Guys! First off I'd like to thank you all for this awsome site! I have already gained a little knowledge of the mountain that is out there! I am fifteen years of age and I am extremely interested into getting into acting/performing. I am interested in stage and screen acting, anything to do with a performance really. I am currently studying at John Curtin College of the Arts in the drama specialist program. Apart from auditions and a small school film, I have never done acting infront of a camera. I have some experience in singing and 13 years of dance. I was wondering if anyone could suggest workshops, classes etc in the Perth area that would be of use to me to gain experience and better myself. If it has already been covered it would much appreciated if you could tell me where? Also I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about Actors Now and Actors Management? I have read throught their classes and what I can of their websites, but any feedback from actors who have been there done that would be awsome! Cheers! Emily

A lot of agencies have classes as well such as Actors Now, Frog and Actors Management they are agents but they are classes too. From personal experience I enjoyed 'Filmbites' otherwise known as 'Filmbites Youth Film School' they are situated in Wangara. Depending on what you're interested you can do classes such as Animation, Skit, Acting for Film, Music Video Clips, so on so on. For example in the acting classes you learn various techniques - like script, acting warmups (focus) so on so on. and in the classes you make short films which are used in many local and international competitions.
