I'm really sorry if something like this has already been posted (and i'm sure it has) but i am looking for an improv/acting class that i can drop in on to help me prepare for my upcoming slew of auditions. i used to take the VCA classes but i am in sydney now, so does anyone have any class/teacher that they can recommend to me? I'm a little rusty, and also a bit put off acting by recent events (see other thread if you want to hear my rant...) thanks in advance, Alison

The NIDA course I took not

The NIDA course I took not so long ago was very helpful i.e. it reminded me how much fun acting can be. Other than that, I'm not sure one can 'cram' improv: in my experience it's something you learn over decades. If you can't find anything, go for some practice auditions beforehand (a swath of no-budget uni films can be very helpful with this... though the season is usually aug/sep) Good luck.
