Ok, so i need help in tracking down people who were asked to audition for a community theatre production of "the three sisters" on wednesday 17th Oct 2007 at either West Pymble Community hall or another hall in North Sydney. This audition was a scam. the three women who were dressed in drag were members of a destructive cult named Kenja and they stalked me and lured me under false pretences to the community hall to audition for this "production". A witness told me that there were other women who auditioned. I really need to find these people. If anyone has any information about anyone who auditioned, please reply asap. They are attempting to track down/stalk ex-cult members and intimidate them. This is frightening and illegal, and must be stopped. Thanks in advance. Alison

Disturbing

Mon, 12 Nov 2007, 12:35 pm

It is somewhat disturbing to think of a group like this resorting to scams such as this. One of the co-founders of Kenja - Ken Dyers - recently committed (Late July) suicide in what cult members are calling extreme pressure from the authorities and press. Fellow Founder Jan Hamilton, claims that the group will go on. Obviously, they are still holding on even though reports and articles about the group have dwindled since August.

What it shows however is that it is very hard to tell the difference between a legitimate audition and a potential and dangerous scam. Never give out your personal details freely. Personally, I tend to provide details that I know I can control like a yahoo or hotmail email address that does not link to extensive personal details about myself. Where I live, my home phone number and other similar details I leave out. Permanently if I can, or until I am fully satisfied that my personal and family safety is assured.
