Quality Street Auditions
Mon, 2 July 2007, 01:34 pmA charming comedy set during the Napoleonic wars of 1815.
In a time where ladies became "Old Maids" in their late twenties, the search for love was every woman's top concern. Hard as it was, it did not need the interruptions of the Napoleonic Wars to further hinder the pursuit of happy marriages. Miss Pheobe however does not let this stop her as she endeavours to recreate herself in the hopes of winning the man of her dreams. So why do these things never quite go to plan?
It's a large cast with plenty of roles for young and old.
Auditions - 4/5 August. Advance Reading - 28th July.

How interesting- I was sure
Tue, 3 July 2007, 04:46 pmHow interesting- I was sure I made a post about this...but then it disappeared!
I work in a lolly shop and sure enough Quality Street is only a Europe thing...which distressed many people at Christmas time.
I would have loved to be in this show...if it wasn't so far away.
