Closing Date for Entries
Sat, 30 June 2007, 10:51 amWe ask for an initial'expression of interest' so that we know how many kits to prepare and also so that we have some idea as to how many entries we are likely to receive. The actual entries need to be in at least 6 weeks before the Festival dates, this is to allow for;
1. People changing their minds
2. Deciding on the programme, getting the scripts to the adjudicator and giving him/her time to read them, preparing the written programme etc, etc
3. Accomodating entries who suddenly drealise that one or more of their casts is getting married/divorced/going on holiday/being sent away on work and the myriad of other things which happen when trying to organise a Festival!!
To give you a straight answer, we want the actual entries in By last post on AUGUST 17th please.
