a question to perth dancers?

Does age seriously count THAT much? My younger sister is 14 this yr and self taught herself ballet from books in the local library, joined a beginners class this year and has been pushed up to advance within the first month and is now in the top three students in her class. The other two have been studying since they were about 5 or 6. So does age seriously count? I know a few girls who are taking their dancing to a professional level. Two have begun studying Dance at WAAPA this year. Another has moved interstate to study in Sydney. But the quality of Dance in WA is quite high but yes many people are moving interstate to actually find jobs etc. ~ Tari The Writer is a child forever listening at the keyhole of the adult world.
