the actors life

Hi I recently went to Adelaide and did a course there and now have come home to re assess my goals and get some direction I guess.. The teacher said that if Acting is something you are wanting to then it should be your main priority... so for all the actors out there does that mean get a job that is at night so I am available during the day ??? I have done some study at KAFF when it was around and I do do some study here and there.... should I try to get into something more indepth(ie full time study). should I stay here or go east or overseas.... I guess I am just puting it out there that I do want to give it a good go in this industry and if anyone can give me some pointers as to were to really start that would be a great help.
