Welshman wants to relocate

Hi im a teci in the uk doing ASM, rigging, scenic painting and board operating, and would like to move to warmer climate,(its snowing today) and see new sights. And am looking for some info on jobs and opertunitys in Austrailia, is the industry diffrent from the UK?
