I’m a college student from Tas and currently considering going to Sydney over the summer holidays to gain some work experience in pretty much anything to do with the technical side of the theatre. My problem is I have no knowledge of the companies and theatre groups ‘up there’ and which ones which would accept a short term colleague. I was hoping to find out if anyone knew of any production(s), running in December 2003 – January 2004 and of any accommodation solutions.
Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
I am a student at the Liverpool College of Tafe it is compulsory that I do a weeks works experience however I am not exactly sure of what to look for or who to ask. I am looking to follow through with my 1 week work experience hopefully from the 17th-21st of November.
If you have any advice or feedback I would greatly appreiciate it.

IÂ’m sure Samantha -your TAFE would have info on venues & possible places that work experience can be found locally.
If not - there is possible listings here for groups near you that should jump at the chance!

hi im 17 still at school and i work part time. I DO AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COURSE AND ALTHOUGH I'M NOT CURRENTLY AT TAFE I'D LIKE TO BE MY TOURISM COURSE WAS CANCEELED AND I'M INTERESTED IN ANOTHER COURSE, ANY SUGGESTIONS?
