Fake candles
Tue, 1 July 2003, 12:04 pmAs having a naked flame in theatre proves very difficult, (esp. for a smaller company, re: fire warden and all that) is anyone aware of a simple electronic equivilent someone could construct or buy that is readily available? Any websites that list this info?

Re: Fake candles
I was involved in a production in Perth in which we used battery operated candles so they are definitely on the market. Perhaps try ringing the lighting and props companies listed under "Theatrical Supplies &/or Services" in the Yellow Pages (L-Z page 2530).
