Re: Urgent Lighting Operator Required

Hey There,

I sympathise, and I really do hope you find someone, but you're really not making it easy for people.

Who/what is Chapel Loft?
Is it the venue?
Are you doing it in a chapel's loft?
Is it the name of the production?
If not, what production are you doing?
Is Chapel Loft the name of the company staging the production?
Is it the suburb in which the production is to be presented?
Speaking of which, where on earth (or at least, where in Australia) is this show on?

You really ought to give people more information if you're looking for help, especially at such short notice.

Best of luck for... whatever it is...

My guess is that the reference is to a space in the theatre they call "Chapel off Chapel" which is in an old chapel building just near Chapel Street in Melbourne.

But I could be completely wrong. And I agree with all your points, Jarrod.

It's not much different, though, to most of us in WA refering to the Rechabites or the Bridge theatre and assuming everybody will know what we're on about. (I'm just as guilty).

The good thing about this website being accessed nationally is that much more information is shared...the other side is we all need to be a bit more responsible about offering clear information.

Cheers,
Craig
