Youth theatre opportunities
Sat, 28 Dec 2002, 04:03 pmCalling all up and coming theatre makers looking for an opportunity to gain some experience in a small youth theatre company.
I am looking for a Director, to propose a show to be rehearsed (on Sat or Sun) from Feb-May and performed over three nights (May 8-10).
The show would need to investigate issues which are not and cannot be addressed in a high school environment. The actors will be aged 16-18 y.o.
Token payment (base and/or profit share) will be available.
I will also need a design team and technical staff, SM etc.
The company is based at Monash University Clayton Campus.
Your position will be flexible and somewhat autonomous.
Excellent opportunity for first timers with the desire to have a go.
I look forward to hearing from you all

Trent,
I am in the midst of finding insurance and rehearsal space, directors and plays but when I get that under control I will certainly let you know what is happening and see if you would like to be involved.
