Theatre Job Sites
Sat, 13 Oct 2001, 11:33 amdoes anyone out there know of any jobsites related to the theatre industry. I keep on getting media & printing vacencies every time I try to do a search.

I'm afraid i can't vouch for anything about the site. Everything i've tried on the site is "members only" and you have to pay to join. I also suspect that much of the information on the site is readily available elsewhere for nix.
Because the information at this site is behind locked doors it won't appear on any search engine - sort of breaks the whole point of having something on the net and goes against my "information wants to be free" principles.

It is actually www.dramaticonline.com and personally I find it more than just a job site. I've come across some really interesting articles. So I find what I get well worth the miserly outlay.

I also agree on the dramaticonline website. I have found it useful for other information that it provides but the jobs are also current and mainly to do with the arts industry.
Yes it does cost a little but i think it's worth it!

If you join dramtic online, every week you recieve a list of positions vacant relating to the arts and theatre around australia. Saves scanning those papers.

postings but occasionaly there are other ads e.g. cruise ship
jobs which hire internationally. Also visit Club Med web site for

No - No financial interest. I know that in australia there just is not really any sites that list entertainment and technical positions for free.
Also any of the free sites are usually all US based and don't really have local listings. - Another option you might find a few listings from is Connections Magazine. It an entertainment industry mag - web address - www.conpub.com.au
