re: technical theatre courses in Australia

hi! am looking around in australia for schools with strong technical program for further training--basically to learn more about technical management(not just stage management). wonder if any students who are currently enrolled in technical management/production program could recommend their courses? and also if any technical manager out there who has had good experiences with graduates from particular schools?
would really really appreciate any feedback 2 help with the choice of schools :) cheers!

Have a look at WAAPA ( Western Australian Academy of performing arts) courses. They do various courses - I'm studying Lighting at the moment here.

Don't have the exact website but if you goto http://www.ecu.edu.au and look under the faculties you should find it.

I am just about to finish the Venue Operations course at WAAPA and I think it might be exactly what you're looking for.
