A Book for Musicians...
Sun, 29 July 2001, 05:55 pmHello -
I would just like to plug a book for other musos out there - it is called 'The Piano Shop on the Left Bank' by T.E. Carhart (published by Random House). A very interesting, well-written non-fiction about an amateur (but oh-so-enthusiastic) musician living next door to a French piano dealer.
That's all!

RE: A Book for Musicians...
In a similar vein (and at risk of turning this into a book crit site) all musos should read "The Maestro Myth" by Norman Lebrecht. A dissertation on the history of condutors and the power they (think they) wield.
