Hi:
Does anyone out there have an easy way of making a lanturn flicker. I have some old style hand held lanturns that need to look as though they have a flickering candle inside?????
Please help.

RE: flickering lanturns

Hello There,
short of making your own flicker device ... which is difficult, unless you have a knowledge of electronics.. you can put a regular (small) light socket into the lantern..then go to ur local hardway store..and pick up a flickering light bulb...they may be hard to find this time of year, but are generally available around Xmas time.
lots of luck

RE: flickering lanterns

This reply may be a little late for your production, but...
Neon flicker lamps (about the size of a 25W "fancy" globe) are available from electrical wholesalers. The electrodes are even shaped like a candle flame.
