Hi.
Anyone has any ideas on what an actor should put in his/her cv? professional education, experience (projects done), what else is there? personal infos... DOB, languages, POB, anything else? Thanks...

In any case, you've pretty much outlined what a CV should look like. How it is laid out can be speculated...

I was curious...what kind of response would we get if we had an online database of local actors and their experience? i.e an Online CV.

I'm looking for a maiden project to start my web design business/hobby.

If people are interested please message me. If I get enough responses...I will start up a local database of local actors.

Hi Troy

There's a very real chance that this project may come to fruition.

We may have a TAFE computing student coming on board to work on a specific project later this year - thank you, Stephen Hastings for suggesting this! - and the Online CV might be the perfect project for them to undertake.

So, how about developing a wish list for this Online CV? I'm imagining that it will be an online database that allows actors to add their details and perhaps a photo.

What should it be called?

What information would you like to be able to submit?

What minimum information should be required?

Should photos be included?

What steps should be taken to protect the privacy of participants?
