Hi.
A few thoughts for you, depending on your goal.
1. If you are looking for show sponsors, try performing at the venue provided by the sponsor, Theatre Restaurant type stuff.
2. If you are after sponsorship to put on a show at your venue, just ask. You will have a program so give away advertising on it.
3. If you are after Funding for project(s) try http://www.arts.qld.gov.au or similar in your state.
