Well we had our first one on Saturday and we will be having another in January and possibly every month there after.

While there was only a few, 14 in total (including us lot), they seemed to want to do It again!!!!! - so the next one will be more focused on a particular subject and at night time in the beginning of a week, rather than a Saturday (which proved to be hard for quite a few starters).

This time we covered, after the normal introduction and properganda about the "New" ' old mill' (which was a filler while waiting for a few more to turn up), orientation and areas of the stage, Stage Management, practical knots and thwackers, lighting (light and colour states used in Jack The Ripper and it's design concept!), audio (wave form), new technoligy now and in the future along with the ideas and principles of the Stage Craft Guild.

As soon as we get over this production of Jack The Ripper (I don't why I am plugging it - cause it's completely sold out?), which Guild members were heaverly involved in, we will sit down and formulate further workshops on a regular basis.

Thanks to all who attended and assisted.

Sorry! one thing I forgot was that 3 weeks ago the team elected WARRICK BAILEY as our 'POO BAH' or whatever title befits the role. To be our bod in the front row for this branch of the Guild
'onya Warrick.

RE: scg - had It, got It and doing IT again!

how about we compromise between Kingstons and shortbread - and get a carton of chocolate coated shortbreads - as I always seem to suffer without that choc intake
( I have no figure too worry about and try not to watch or look at it - maybe if I get a larger mirror...na!....besides the cost - could I stand it or really want too??????????)

Chookas
