Ok, so who got bitten by the Love Bug?

Everyone seems to be doling out advice and sales of anti-viral software are rocketing.

Sadly, even for those equipped with anti-viral software they probably weren't protected:

a) because the virus spread worldwide before the anti-viral software manufacturers had time to release a new version of their software

b) because anti-viral software will never beat common sense precautions.

Simply, it doesn't matter who appears to have sent you the mail. Never open an email attachment with a .exe, .com, .vbs extension and be very cautious of MS Word documents.

Anti-viral software offers no protection against careless or reckless computer use.

Cheers
