Well it is certainly nice to know that some things wont ever change...How comforting for me to stumble across this page after my travels around grotty QLD (complete with cane toads in the loo) and find you lot still at it.Big hellos to Grant who I havent seen since I was sixteen and he stuck me in the part of Salieri's mute chickie babe (non speaking roles really work for me I feel..*laughs*). Best wishes for you and yours.Hope the industry is treating you all well and perhaps will see you out there if I ever get my lazy musical ass offa this computer. Once again, it is fantastic to see you all moaning and groaning and blowing your own horns...feels like home! :)

RE: Wandering around...

Hi Jay!
Sorry to take so long to reply to this... great to hear from you. QLD??? What on earth would possess you to leave Perth for QLD? ;)
Sounds like you might have forgiven me for casting you in that mute role... but the show was fun wasn't it? Done any more recently?
While i'm thinking of it, i heard a whisper that Mrs Mozart - Mauvaine - from that production was back in town. But that was ages ago. Has anyone heard from the infamous Louis Door?
Cheers
Grant

Bachelor of Music Theatre...at QLD Con..should have been renamed Bachelor of Internal Politics or Bachelor of How Not To Get Eaten By A Bird Eating Spider.. (this is true...they really have them there)
Luckily, Im not a bird.

I loved the show..not my most fantabulous role but lots of fun and really yummy Nipples of Venice...
I havent done any more shows since coming home from QLD. I think I nearly drowned in MT there and felt the need to get a semblence of a life before I started in again. Also it feels like Ive been away from the Perth scene for so long, when I left here in 96 I was only 19...(Im just SO old now!) but Im thinking of considering it... :o)
Congrats on such a good site also!
Jay
P.S. There was an article on Master Door in the Mackay Newspaper!
