just f'inking

May I sound out a problem I have just heard about.How is the general feeling, about a director - who after having done a season with a community theatre, of a play, that was well received (not the directors fault - it's one of those gems). - is now going to do the show as a 'for profit' at various other venues. The cast is the same warm props and the director is still a committee person - so I am to beleive - with no though of the club, just their own gain. I don't know if they have applied for the rights or licence directly or not - however that's beside the piont.My 'jerk' reactions is - will this be done with the good grace of the club - possibly not? I beleive, as the club put up the resources to get the thing on the boards, there has to be some moral stance involved - others might think this does not matter - but at the very least this person is using their position and influence to gain at no intial cost to themselves - This is not new - but while we are on the OMNI-BUS, I would like to throw this in to fellow commuters - as I can't think of a sing-a-long song, at the moment to help entertain during the journey!How about 'row row' na ......
