Theatre Lighting 2 night course
Wed, 16 Jan 2013, 08:45 pmI will be running an Introduction to Theatre Lighting Workshop at the Garrick Theatre on Monday 21 January from 7pm to 10pm and Wednesday 23 January fom 7pm to 10pm.
We will discuss the lighting design requirements for A Lady Mislaid as part of the workshop, create a lighting plan, and associated paperwork such as a patch sheet. Then we rig, focus and plot.
Some of the lighting will be preset for continuity of the workshops, as we do not have time to start from scratch. As a guide to rigging, you should allow 30 minutes per light to rig and focus and as we will be using over 30 lights, we do not have time to do it all.
There is no charge for these workshops.
It is being held in conjunction with setting up the lighting for the next production at the Garrick Theatre, Aady Mislaid http://www.garricktheatre.asn.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=167:a-lady-mislaid&catid=55:2013-season&Itemid=95
