Could anyone recommend any lighting visualisation software that I might be able to use either free or with a group license for using as an educational tool in classes? I’m wanting to use it with students to create their own lighting designs. I was thinking of Capture Polar but it could work out to be very expensive for a group license. Something that would be compatible with the Smartfade ML would be great. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jason

Go to The Blue Room

Go to The Blue Room lighting forum http://www.blue-room.org.uk/index.php?s=7ccc39b49f35331f4d5c024f1c4552a0&app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1 and do a search on lighting design software. They cover the free versions.
