Hi all. I have a tech problem if anyone can help with ideas. In the play that I'm doing one of the characters has to spray another with a fire extinguisher. I presume that using a real one is a no go, chemicals etc. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not up on this sort of thing. Cheers Jenny

Alternatively, red with a black band is carbon dioxide. A short squirt shouldn't cause any problems. Too much and you'll displace the oxygen in the immediate area, with dire consequences. Also, no mess to clean up. These are the ones that create a visible gas discharge that you see in the movies, but they may replace it with a different gas. -------------- The issue with the 'short burst' is that CO2 extinguishers produce dry ice, which is great is you need the 'post show six pack' chilled in 3 minutes but not so good on bare skin.
