Clarity of defintions of lighting terms..
Mon, 29 Mar 2010, 11:27 amHi,
I am doing an assignment on a LSC Maxim lighting desk, and finding the terms it uses in the op manual are different from what i am used to. If anyone could help clarifying the following terms it would be really helpful...
1. is a 'cue' the same as a 'scene'? If not what is the difference?
2. What exactly is a 'stack', is it different to a 'cue list'?
3. What is a 'cue list'..?
4. What are 'steps' in terms of a stack?
4. Also double check on the meaning of 'chase'?
5. Are a scene, cue , snapshot and step all really the same thing?
These may seem like some obvious questions, but i have just been totally confused about them in the context of the manual compared to our assignment sheet.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Basically you have to read
