What are we worth?

Ok so there is a new Award for techs in the industry. CX mag recently gave us their breakdown on what it means to them. See CX archives (free) for details. Hopefully no one is working for that little or less out there, gads what an insult to us all. I've got an expired EBA,AWA (er whatever) to renegotiate with management. As part of my current agreement, I can't give you any details and I'm guessing a lot of you can't either. All I can do is look over the info MEAA have given me and search for job vacancies, hoping they give a salary range. Some do and it seems we're getting a bit of a raw deal here in Darwin. I'll take what I have to the meetings when they start but I'd really appreciate having a clear idea of where the bar is for full time and casual techs in Australia. We've the worst housing market in Australia here and groceries are very similar. I'd like to get techs in my venue (and across the board) getting closer to what their worth. I understand if you can't comment but for those of you who can, what are techs getting in your neck of the woods these days? What should we be getting?
