An interesting experiment ~ part 2
Tue, 24 Nov 2009, 08:25 pmAh, that's hilarious,
It seems you had a lot of
It seems you had a lot of fun Mike?
Thanks for the playback Mike,
I have seen that hapen a few times Jeff! Usualy it is not one of the luvvies who does it, but a panic stricken SM, after they are alerted by the bio box.
Every time I have used the Medici [periaktoi] flats, as legs on both side of the stage. We had to adopted a one direction crew movement, Usualy spiking the deck or base rail, off stage with a direction arrow. Or if the need be with OP upstage & PS down stage, if the flat placemennt &/or painting confusion has occured?
Of course a mechanical system of rotating normaly works better, when they are used as a rotating {Poliaktoi] backdrop.
I'm not sure I'd go with studio flats, mainly because of the wieght factor. I would opt for broadway [soft] flats. However as TV [hard] flats have been used, it might be worth while applying a calico skin [gesso] to the flats, which would make it easier to paint & also Dutchman the jionts.
With Perliaktoi flats in a row, I have utalised bicycle back cog wheels & rotated them with the use of a bike chain. It took only one crew member to operate them.
