this thread is rubbish

While I could write a 3 page critique of this piece, it is American, written by a musician with a severely limited understanding of the technical aspects of the issue, DO NOT BELIEVE the contents of this thread, it moves from mildly wrong to absolutely wrong.

I'd have to side with David, there's really not enough usable information. By rights, "the basics" such as this (not to mention the vital electrical safety) should be covered by the person training new technicians.

I also don't like the fact that he is recommending 'smaller' Par lamps to light the average coffee house.. Not very efficient given the fact that we are trying to move into 'greener', more responsible lighting.
