Blue lacquer for hi temp halogen lights....................
Fri, 19 Dec 2008, 03:44 amI have purchased some of these rectangular shaped halogen work lights. They operate at hi temp (500w lamps). I am contemplating colouring blue. Clear lacquer on the glass will burn, gels equally will melt (unless sandwiched between hi temp glasses). Any one have any thoughts? For discussion please....

I don't know if it could with stand to the temperature, generated by the Halogen bubble.But it could be of value?

I was starting to think on the lines of reflection or another weird things like an air gap, but that would be as useful as boobs on a bull - so I'm not much help!
