Naughty Na

Shame, shame, shame.... not sharing the site earlier.... (just kidding Naomi!)

Deffinately a worthwhile site to visit for those with a credit card that is burning a hole in your pocket....

Believe me, the stuff they DON'T have... you just dont need!

(Pity about the cost and mailing factors though!!)

Ah, well, sharing...

Ah, well, sharing... Actually it's on my list of links on my website, so if you happened to check there, you would have seen it. So it was somewhat shared :) Yes, I drool occasionally at their stuff. Actually, I'm hunting for a specific torch light, which is what made me remember it. Moppet eyes now on sale at Puppets in Melbourne

What we need is a 'CLUB

What we need is a 'CLUB TECH' or at least a Crew Fo'c'sle 'Toolbox' meet?
Now There is an idea! Something where Techies can gather every now & then. at say one of the ITA member theatre venues on a prearranged date & time, each month or when ever.
This could be an adjunct to 'TAP'?
{Not long to go then I'll be a #223 on the point score}

Then there is the DMX

Then there is the DMX Coffee Percolator with RDM ! (Remote device management) http://www.dfd.com/coffee.html Maybe one to put on the Ignite funding ?

Don I would think, rather

Don I would think, rather than a Fusion Coffee brewer, Garrick Theatre could get a 'Froffy' coffe machine. They can get fairly cheap ones these days, even a cion op coffee vending machine.
Especialy with before & after show, so punters can have a cuppa, rather than just drinks at the Bar. Interval is well cattered for with  a free cuppa & also soup. [Great Idea]

Even a Cafe Bar which are available with vending options - for the non-drinkers!

But you can't run them on

But you can't run them on dmx cues from the lighting desk, so you are putting additional work onto the foh staff.

HA HA HA! I'm sure with

HA HA HA!
I'm sure with the talented techies you have there, they could gaffer something up?
Just a think though - While a lot of the Froffy Coffee Vending Machines are in fact digital, in most instances they really are still a 'Direct Mechanical Xchange'! [Although I know the Café Bar give no change ('X' change) at all]

A brillaint site

"Roadies Rags" have been one of my favourite clothing sites for years!....

Keith and the crew not only produce some of the best "commentary" T-Shirts that apply to Theatre and the Performing Arts, but they are also willing to accept ideas from the global populace for new designs and slogans...

Check them out people... I am sure you will enjoy what you find!

Here is a link that has proved useful from time to time.
How ever you must keep in mind that it is a POHMY site, while there is not a lot of difference here, there is the odd term used that differs, not as much as it does with the Yanks!;- http://www.blue-room.org.uk/wiki/Main_Page
While I'm not a fan of the main 'Blue room' forum site, mainly because of their lack of tolerance, especialy with students just asking questions & being pilloried for doing so. It is a good resource to check in on now & then.

Thinking of Oilio [Oileo],

Thinking of Oilio [Oleo], back drop, cyc, & cloths in general.
Rather than using the old home made devices, usually 2 bits of ply, a bolt, wing nut & sash cord. To stretch that cloth ;-
