I am putting a set together that someone else designed. They have a 10' tall wall separated into 4 sections. each section has a 1' border on the top and bottom with between 6"-8" between them. The designer decided to inset 4 panels (so that the border area extends out by about 2" from the inset panels) It would be as if you build a 10'x4' panel then put a frame around it that sticks out about 2" with the borders described above... Now, here is the problem. The designer wants to use an insert into the panels that has wood panels on one side and wall paper for a young girl on the other. I tried to convince him to allow me to use the wood panel on behind the frame so that all we would need to do was remove the wallpapered Luan but the theater is very small and he does not want to worry about storage. I have about 2 feet behind the wall with supports and such. I do not have room to spin the panel (either vertical or horizontal) Any suggestions? any and all would be appreciated Thank you, Evan

How about a roll of fabric

How about a roll of fabric at the top (slightly behind) that you drop over the top of the wood panelling. It wouldn't work if you needed to change back and forwards quickly...and you may need to work out joins in the fabric.
