G'day.

There is an old thread about this subject but it wasn't much help to me.

I want a Telephone Ringer to make a real phone ring on the stage in live theatre.

I can't find anything in Australia.

I did find this and it would do the job if I can't find any thing else.

Any body have any other ideas?

Are you sure the 'Lighting Operator' tag is appropriate? Seems more like a sound question to me... Why does it have to make a real phone ring? Why not just pre-record? ... You could always try looking up books that offer some suggestions on making your own phone - though I can't think of any off the top of my head, I'm sure there's something out there somewhere.
