Fallen stars?
Wed, 19 Apr 2006, 01:13 pmHas the rating system somehow collapsed? The last few times I've logged on and gone straight to a comment by clicking it in the 'recent comments' box, there is no longer any facility to give it a rating. (Which is a shame because several comments have been worthy.)
Also, I don't find it easy to discover the thread these comments appear in...sometimes they make no sense unless you can quickly refer to what's gone on before. I have to use my back button, and try to find the entire thread the comment was posted in....and to be honest I don't go any further than that because I don't have the time.
Am I right in remembering that only recently the threads WERE visible when you clicked on a message? So perhaps it's temporarily disappeared while the function is being updated? If not, I'd definitely vote for it to be reinstated.

Wed, 19 Apr 2006, 01:49 pmSadly, I have noticed that if you have the collapsed view you get the little 'Not Read Stars' but cannot moderated comments. Switch back to not collasped views and you can moderate but cannot see the little stars.
My approach is to use Collapsed mode to read new comments, then switch to not collasped to moderate, comments, then switch back to collapsed before viewing other threads. Convoluted I know, but it works until a better approach can be found.
