WAAPA musical theatre certificate performances

Do WAAPA musical theatre certificate students do performances?

I was told they do one at the end of year for family, friends and WAAPA MT faculty. Cert students also get free tickets to the BA performances.

Yes that all correct Lovelee. The only thing I can add to that post is what we performed- We performed 2 song and dance numbers as a whole class, a scene from a play in small groups, 1 jazz dance number as a whole class and a solo song of our choice.

The performance is very low key and is ment to show what we have learnt over the year. It's heaps of fun too!

Also you get to perform to your class every three weeks in performance prac - you have to prepare and perform a piece at performance standard!! This one was my favourite class!!
