WAAPA callback
Tue, 22 Nov 2005, 06:47 amJust wanted to know how everyone felt they went.
i dont think i will be sleeping from the 1st till the 5th of december unless i get a call.
i know this sounds stupid but i am more nervouse now than i was before the audition.( i think because there is nothing more i can do, and i like to be in controll.)
good luck guys!

Fri, 25 Nov 2005, 08:24 amWow can anyone tell me why this is?? Classical singing
I thought to sing music theatre you would show your strengths in having a theatrical animated voice not classical.
I cant believe that want sweet singing voices. Maybe I have it all wrong?
I didnt go to see Caroline O'Connor to her her sing pretty and sweet. She belts her songs and I thought this is what its all about. The power and the presentation, the animation and projection. She is one amazing woman.
Lovelee I have seen stage shows Cabaret and Chicago and they are not sung classically even the ballads. They have substance.
Liza Minelli has grind and power in her voice, as did her mother. They have their own style.
I would expect if you get into WAAPA they would teach you every style. I thought it was about the person showing a potential for music theatre in an audition.
You dont go to an audition being perfect then they would have nothing to teach you.
Good luck Monday
