Last Les Mis in Sydney!!
Wed, 16 Nov 2005, 02:30 pmAshfield Musical Society in Sydney are holding auditions in the next few weeks for Les Miserables.They are the last musical society to be granted the rights to perform the show as it has now been withdrawn.SO...if any one has any aspirations to be part of this musical phenomenom,it's your last chance to do so for the time being.Details on their website.

Is that to prevent overkill?? we've had quite a few productions in Adelaide

Is that really an assumption or do you have some inside information?
I thought I was sufficiently close to the show to have heard - but then again, maybe not!
I know that Cameron Mackintosh is keen to push the School Edition (especially after the 20th Anniversary gala)

I have been in contact with the licencors of Les Mis in Australia. They assure me there are NO restrictions on new licences in this region.
