Re: Wicked
This is 100% completely incorrect.
There is no confirmation at all that Wicked will be staged in Australia.

Re: Wicked
Then how can I know someone with an audition?
Also there have been rumours the Rachel Beck is playing Galinda/Glinda (which i think is completely unsuitable but that's beside the point)

Re: Wicked
Its true that there will be an Australian version of Wicked. It will be staged next year in either Sydney or Melbourne. GFO have bought the rights and will be producing it.
I do hope that they do not cast Rachel Beck as Galinda. Every time a show comes to Perth it always seems to have her in it, whats with that? But hey, who am I kidding, i doubt if it will ever come here. We only seem to get the crap "lets put a whole pile of old pop songs together and call it a musical type shows". I'm hoping that they will cast two unknowns as Elphaba and Galinda - in that they cast people who can actually do the roles well. If they need a Bums on Seat name they can do that with the Wizard or Madame Morrible.
No more Rachel Beck, i don't know how much more can take!!!
