youth opera
Mon, 13 Dec 2004, 11:18 pmHi I'm a newbie here and therefore kind of lost, so i thought this would be the best approach. I'm kind of new to singing- well I only started having lessons at the start of this year, but I have found myself attracted to singing opera. I was wondering if there were any Melbourne based opera companies who audition youth singers who arn't very experienced

Re: youth opera
try the amateur musical groups...can't think of any opera groups (other than the professional ones), maybe because they require a little more skill. Gilbert & Sullivan (Savoy) is pretty good. You can find most of the groups linked on this site.
