Musical theatre sensations present a brand new show at The Blue Room Theatre.

yellow glass theatreÂ’s production LAST DAYS OF WEIMAR deals with important works that were lost, destroyed or banned by the Third Reich.

The works included in this piece represent the pinnacle of German Expressionism in music during the final years of the Weimar Republic that were banned due to Jewish authorship.

Previous shows include Kander and Ebb’s THE WORLD GOES ‘ROUND, the WA premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s PUTTING IT TOGETHER, SWALLOW! A GASTRONOMICAL CABARET and MATTERS OF THE HEART AND OTHER ORGANS. All productions have been critically acclaimed and PUTTING IT TOGETHER sold out its season at The Studio, Subiaco Theatre Centre.

The cast of LAST DAYS OF WEIMAR includes yellow glassÂ’ founders Simon Holt and Chris Kabay, recent WAAPA Musical Theatre graduates Rhoda Lopez (Bachelor of Arts) and Suzie Mathers (Certificate II in Musical Theatre), Perth Jazz sensation Ali Bodycoat, and pianist Ben Clarke

Last Days of Weimar open Friday 3rd September and runs from 6th - 11th and 13th -18th of September at 8pm at the Blue Room Theatre, 53 James St Northbridge. Bookings on 9227 7005.
