A Musical Film - seeking Perth crew
Tue, 4 Nov 2003, 09:31 pmI am a graduating film student from Perth, Western Australia who is developing a musical to be shot early next year in March-April. I am seeking crew to help me on this project - that is, anyone else who has ever wanted to put a musical to film. Personally, it has been my dream to write one for a long time.
The people I am looking for are:
Production crew - camera operators, lighting operators, sound operators
People with access to equipment - although I have access to DS-11 and PD-150 cameras, anyone who has access to better equipment would definetly be welcome as camera operators!
Producers - anyone who wishes to collaborate with me on this project
Music Composers - Musicians who are willing to either compose some tracks or transfer piano music onto paper.
Talent - actors with experience, experience performing on stage would be a plus, experience in a musical would be even better! We may need additional back-up vocals, so all singers are welcome!
Coreographers - Anyone with dance training, or be able to put together dance routines would be of great help.
As I said, my musical is in the planning stages - I am still juggling over concepts, but any imput would be greatly appreciated and any credit would be awarded to those who are prepared to contribute.
I am hoping to enter the finished product into Tropfest and other film festivals. So the standard for this production is going to high.
