Here's hoping...
I hope you get a good response to this from someone who does know. In the short term however, you could try calling the University itself and see if someone is willing to talk to you about it.

I'm a BA MT grad from ballarat uni and they definetly take into account potential rather than just current ability. They stream the dance classes so that there is level A, B , C, and D so you learn based at your own level! All I suggest is at your audition show them that your confident and eager to learn when it comes to your dancing.
