Renting a theater event space or studio warehouse for low budget film

Hi! We are making a low budget film, that has some sequences with dancers dancing on a floor. I was looking at places that allow for a moving spotlight - so the entire stage is dark with a spotlight on each dancer that tracks. Because of the lighting needed, we felt it better to rent theaters that stage musicals or plays. I know of the footbridge theater in sydney. I think a studio warehouse will also be fine. Just wondering if someone knows of other theaters or spaces with lighting that have lower rental prices - especially down south where all the amateur musical groups seem to be at. Would appreciate any suggestions as I really have no idea at the moment where to shoot this..
