New to Aus!

I currently live just north of Perth... and I LOVE performing, so I was just wondering if anyone could help me out on MT groups I could join in Perth, or good acting/sing coaches/teachers as I am considering auditioning for WAAPA/NIA (I did the UK auditions last year and want to keep up my audition technique) Or any adult dance classes in the area! I also was hoping to try and get singing gigs, so was wondering if anyone could help me by suggesting places that do live music.. or is anyone looking for a singer in a band? Also, are there any good theatre shops, I want to read more plays to get ideas for monologues! And read more books to do with the craft of acting/singing!

Just north of Perth is fairly vague but you might be close to Playlovers in Floreat, Stirling Theatre in Innaloo and you're close to Northbridge where there are auditions for productions in the Blue Room Theatre sometimes. Just over the river is the Old Mill Theatre in South Perth and Blak Yak Theatre sometimes perform in Subiaco.
Further north, there's also Limelight Theatre in Wanneroo and Endeavour Theatre in North Beach.
For pure musical endeavours, try the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of WA.
Look in the back of X-Press each week to see for bands looking for singers (it's a free music paper you can find in pubs, bottleshops and so on)
