I saw this show on Broadway

I saw this show on Broadway and absolutely loved it. It's a small set and should be able to tour quite easily, so it may even make it to Perth :) Melissa

Here's Hoping

Oh I hope so! I got to see it in London but I wanna watch it again - it's so much fun! "Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." Scott Adams

I saw it in London also -

I saw it in London also - we snuck in to the royal box to the left of the stage and were interacting with the cast throughout the show! During the song "give me your money" I gave them my Woolworths discount card and Gary Coleman threw it into the audience! Good times :P

Rumour has it they might be

Rumour has it they might be auditioning for new cast, as they've done it on previous tours. However I have nothing confirmed, and any auditions would most likely be done through local casting agents which would make it much more hush hush than normal. My guess is even if there were auditions it would be very very competitive. Finger puppet pattern for under $4 at Puppets in Melbourne

This show is HILARIOUS!!! I

This show is HILARIOUS!!! I heard the auditions are next week and "Arts Asia Pacific" > We Will Rock You / Phantom / Titanic - are producing it, which means its got the backing to be marketed solidly and cast with a really talented bunch of actors. It is being directed by Jonathan Biggins (Great Actor/Comedian/Director) choreographed by Nathan Wright (awesome choice!) musical director is Dave Skelton..Opens in Melb June 2009 then all major cities in Oz followed by Auckland and Wellington. Yippee!! I know that they are auditioning younger actors this time as apposed to the older actors on Broadway. A brave step, but i can already name the top young musical stars who would be perfect for each character..we have such great young talent in Oz musical theatre!!

Nathan Wright is amazing! I'm so glad he has been given this opportunity! I recently saw him perform in the Rocky Horror Show in Melbourne, he has an amazing presence about him. This show is pretty much guaranteed to be awesome!

Yeah Nathan is awesome. Ive watched him on stage for years. A versatile and strong performer. I also saw Andrew Koblar in Altar Boyz (which was hilarious!)who would fit the role of Princeton/Rod i would love to see Ana Maria Bello (Fantastic actress/singer) would be a perfect Kate Monster /Lucy the Slut. Lena Cruze (Priscilla) would be hiarious as Christmas Eve. Tim Richards (Lion King)would be great for the role of Brian. Im still thinking about GARY COLEMAN (Played by a woman) NICKY/TREKKIE MONSTER; MRS. T / BAD IDEA BEAR/ ENSEMBLE Ideas?
