KTW's Cabaret selling VERY FAST!!!
Thu, 3 July 2008, 02:24 pm[Paul steps very tentatively out from his bunker]
KTW's production of Cabaret is selling VERY FAST!!!
In the six days since opening we have gone from about a third to almost full...
This weekend (4/5 July) is currently sold out
All other nights have only one or two seats left
The two matinees (Sun 13th and Sat 19th) are at better than half and are likely to fill up quickly
If you want to see this production, be quick!
If you don't particularly want to see this production but want to be able to slag off the crew or cast with some specifics rather than just gross generalisations - you need to be even quicker!
Bookings from the Koorliny Arts Centre 9439 0290
[Paul quickly crawls back into his hiding place]
PS to Sue Vincent if she is reading
Hey Sue, those shirts we talked about seem like a REALLY good idea!
You going to organise or shall I? ;-)

What constitutes a full house?
This is the message I got on 02/07/08 from your booking office:
"Sorry Peter but the nights have all sold out for tables. We may have a few more nights coming on sale next week and I'll let you know if that happens. Kind regards Ian Ashton."

Given Cabaret is sold out this weekend....
....why not go and see Deus Ex Quanta performed by Blak Yak at the Subiaco Arts Centre as an alternative?
Apologies to Paul and Co but then again "Cabaret" was getting free publicity in the thread for that show ;)
One hand washes the other........

In response to
In response to Stinger...the possibility of extending the season to an extra show or two in the final week has been put forward to the cast, but not yet confirmed. So there MAY be more tickets on sale in the future.
But as we all know, 100% ticket sales rarely translates to 100% attendance on the night. So a fully booked show isn't necessarily a full house on the night...
Aaaaand I would be going to see Deus Ex Quanta this weekend if I wasn't performing :-) It sounds like an excellent show. And never mind the thread "cross-promoting" hehe...throw in the word where you can, thats what this website is all about. Or rather, SHOULD be all about... Best of luck for the remainder of your season.

Selling Out
Clarification:
Seating for Cabaret is in tables of 4.
So while there are still INDIVIDUAL SEATS left for the evening performances, there are no 'tables' left.
We still have tickets available for the Saturday Matinee and a handful of seats for the sunday matinee.
There is NO GUARANTEE of extra shows...
If people are working I will NOT be asking them to take the time off work...
In the meanwhile, if you were planning on seeing Cabaret but can't get in...
Can I suggest Blak Yak's Deus ex Quanta at Subi Theatre Centre?
If I could be going I would, but I can't...
Saw it many years ago at Don Russell and it left me thinking for WEEKS after
