A one woman cabaret act of songs from stage and screen.
Have you ever wondered what it is exactly that attracts a performer to the razzle and dazzle of musicals?
In the style of classic Hollywood starlets and bewitching Broadway babes, singer Sherry-Anne Hayes brings her new one woman cabaret act of songs from stage and screen to Melville Theatre Company.
Sherry-Anne gives this popular theme a unique twist by exploring her theory that, like the six degrees of separation, these two musical Meccas are more closely linked than we think. Revel in this evening of gorgeous numbers including 'Moon River', 'The Way You Look Tonight', 'Arthur's Theme' and many, many more.
Lights!, Camera!...Overture! enjoyed a sell-out season Downstairs at the Maj in 2007 and will play at Melville for six shows only in April 2008.
Performance Dates:
Evening: 8pm – April 18th, 19th, 24th, 25th,26th.
Matinee: 2pm – Sunday April 20th 2008
Ticket Prices: $15 full and $12 concession
