Yes, if it's a good

Yes, if it's a good institution! Where are you thinking of enrolling? There are some fantastic schools out there, as well as some with less-than-perfect reviews. It'd be worthwhile to research each one before you make a commitment. Of course, the more training and experience you have, the more likely you are to get into WAAPA or NIDA. WAAPA also offers short audition preparation courses to give you a bit of an edge. I'm not sure about NIDA as I'm a Perthie myself! And if you decide not to do the course, you can always do a make-your-own to help prepare you for the big MS schools - get a great singing teacher, take dancing lessons and acting courses, and get involved with as many community musicals as you possibly can.

Over the past three years

Over the past three years BAPA has grown and BAPA talent is equal to those at WAAPA and NIDA triple threat. The present voice teacher taught Cate Blanchett and Nicole. They have ex WAAPA teachers and BAPA brings in Guests from Aust and all over the World to do workshops. Its the up and coming place. Agents from Melb and Sydney pop in regularly and 3 third years already have roles in touring musicals next year.
