How To Succeed a Roaring Success
Sun, 3 June 2007, 01:27 pmWA Stage School's season of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying closed last night
at the Subiaco Arts Centre to well deserved raptious applause and cheering. Once in a while a
Director/Producer is so fortunate to get a talented cast where the chemistry is perfect. This
was the case with this cast with the perfect blend of musical experience and outstanding young
talentshowcasing all the musical theatre elements to bring to an audience a truly wonderful
evening of entertainment.
To the marvellous cast whi I watched each night, you are just sensational both on and off stage.
As Finch one of the main characters in the show says before the show stopping "Brotherhood of Man"
"I want to speak about humanity", well the whole cast are perfect examples of the finest aspects
of the Family of Man. I am so very proud of each and everyone of you.
It would be remiss of me not to mention my co-producer Renae O'Neill who also choreographed the
whole show, you are hardworking and enthusiastic person that truly believes in the young talent
that WA has.
To our Vocal Directors "The Sassy B's" Bec and Bri I love your energy, warmth and great talent that
you were able to pass on to this production and make it a true musical theatre masterpiece.
Thanks to a dedicated crew of Victor, Scott and Set Designers Cale and Nathan, without your
energy and never say die work ethis the show would not have worked without you.
Special thanks must also go to Brendan and Alice and team from the Subiaco Arts Centre, the
best theatre operators in Perth. Look forward to working with you on future productions.
Finally if you missed the production, great news, we are back "by popular demand" in a return
season of 3 shows from the 24th August and a possible appearance at the Mandurah Performing
Arts Centre. Make sure you book your tickets at BOCS as soon as you can.
Well done Cast and Crew your Success is truly deserved.
God Bless
Paul Litwin
Director
